About the Exhibit
Fast fashion’s rapid cycle of production and consumption comes with a hidden cost—our water. From chemical dyes to microplastics, the industry plays a major role in polluting ecosystems around the world. This exhibit explores that impact while also reflecting on my own participation in the problem, encouraging more awareness and more intentional choices moving forward.
About Me
This exhibit holds deep personal meaning for me, as it explores an issue I have directly contributed to. Like many others, I’ve fallen into the cycle of fast fashion, unintentionally playing a role in the growing problem of global water pollution. Acknowledging that impact has been an important part of my growth, both as a person and as a designer.
My senior year has been full of both challenges and accomplishments, and through it all, I’ve learned more than I could have imagined. I am incredibly grateful for this program, the professors, and the community that have supported and guided me in becoming a stronger, more thoughtful designer.
As I move forward, I’m excited to carry these lessons into the professional world and begin building a meaningful career.
My Projects
Over the last year we have been developing this concept on various projects, take a look into these to learn more about each and to see a bit of the process.
